Correcting myself, this is *not* true!
The normal build doesn't include the documentation build, only the
debian packaging does. Sorry for mixing these up.

Thus, I think we can leave things as they are now, i.e. have that
quick'n dirty fix in the debianisation patch.

Anyway, I'll look into splitting off the whole "pretty" documentation
into a separate package soon...
