Andreas started on it, but he has the habbit to submerge for serveral
months and then reappear. I have no idea how far he has gone (I BCC'ed
him the first mail)

i'll merge the coverage branch to the devel branch later today, the
coverage branch then becomes obsolete by that and preparation for the
next release will happen in 'devel'.
